Svrha ovog istraživanja je ispitati laboratorijsko ponašanje različitih adhezijskih sustava, klasičnih i samojetkajućih u odnosu na rubno propuštanje i kvalitetu adhezije smolastog (kompozitnog i kompomernog) ispuna na tvrda zubna tkiva- caklinu i dentin mliječnih i mladih trajnih zuba. Također svrha je istraživanja provesti meta analizu literature te ustanoviti trendove u korištenju samojetkajućih adhezivnih sustava na mliječnim i mladim trajnim zubima te utjecaj različitih laboratorijskih i kliničkih postupaka na rubno zatvaranje i kvalitetu adhezije. Laboratorijsko istraživanje rubne propustljivosti i testa smičnog opterećenja provedeno je na uzorku od 180 zuba. Testirani samojetkajući adhezivi su AdheSe, Clearfil SE Bond, Clearfil S3 Bond, Adhese One Vivapen, Unifil Bond, Futura Bond NR, Adper Prompt-L-Pop i klasični (ER sustavi), Single Bond i Excite, u kombinaciji s kompomerom Dyractom i kompozitom Tetricom. Za test rubne propustljivosti su izrađena dva ispuna vestibularno i lingvalno. Nakon termocikliranja zubi su bojani 50%-tnom otopinom srebrnog nitrata, uloženi u akrilnu smolu te izrezani u 2-3 isječka po zubu (Minitom, Struers A/S) te analizirani polarizacijskim mikroskopom. Rubno je propuštanje evaluirano prema Oberholzerovim kriterijima. Dobiveni skor je statistički obrađen i utvrđene su statistički značajne razlike prema adhezivima (p<0, 01) i materijalima (p=0, 04). Test smičnog opterečenja proveden je u univerzalnom aparatu za testiranje (Lrx Testing Machine, AMATEK Lloyd Instruments Ltd). Uzorci su analizirani svjetlosnim mikroskopom (OPTON SV8) te je određena adhezivna ili kohezivna vrsta frakture. Nije utvrđena statistički značajna razlika u čvrstoći adhezije testiranih materijala. Meta analizom je dan pregled recentne literature o adhezivima u odnosu na vlastito istraživanje.

The aim of this experimental study was to evaluate effectiveness of several different adhesive systems, clasical and self-etching in terms of marginal leakage and adhesive retention in resin based (compomer and composite) restaurations of hard dental tissue-emanel and dentin in primary and young dentition. The aim of the study was to meta-analyze literature and determine the new trends in usage of self-etching adhesives in primary and young permanent dentition, and also to determine influence of different in vitro and in vivo procedures on a quality of adhesion and marginal seal. For analysis of marginal leakage and shear bond test 180 teeth were used. Tested self-etching adhesive systems were AdheSe, Clearfil SE Bond, Clearfil S3 Bond, Adhese One Vivapen, Unifil Bond, Futura Bond NR, Adper Prompt-L-Pop and etch and rinse systems were Single Bond and Excite in combination with compomer Dyract and composite Tetric. For marginal leakage test standardized class V cavities were prepared on okluzal and gingival margins. After thermocycling teeth were dyed with 50% solution of silver nitrate, embedded in acrylic resin and sectioned in 2-3 sections per tooth (Minitom, Struers A/S) and analyzed under a polarized microscope. Marginal leakage was evaluated using Oberholtzer criteria. The skor measured produced statistical significance and confirmed difference amongst tested adhesives (p<0,01), and materials (p=0,04). Shear bond test was tested in Universal testing machine (Lrx Testing machine, AMATEK Lloyd Instruments Ltd). Samples were analyzed under polarized microscope and type of fracture was determined (adhesive or cohesive). There was not determined statistical difference amongst adhesive values of the tested materials. Meta analysis was conducted analyzing .recent literature on adhesive systems in comparison to our investigation.
